Say hello to Layla. She's my 8 year old lab/collie mix who might be one of the most benign canines to have walked this earth. She's of average weight and stature--but not of average intelligence. Let's just say she's not exactly the brightest crayon in the box. No, she wasn't blessed with deep thoughts, but she has the sweetest pesonality which makes up for a lot of empty ... um ... space.

Layla serves as a constant companion and farmhand. She provides 75% of the comic relief I injest throughout the day. She fancies herself to be a professional cat-chaser and UPS truck alarm-giver. As with most muts, she tends to exibit her collie traits when her lab traits are most needed, and vice versa.

In this photo shoot, I'm testing various settings on my camera. I've just recently started shooting in RAW format, so keep in mine that all of the photos below were shot in RAW with a UV filter. No tripod.
