PWRBA Release
Posted on Wednesday, November 19 2008
I'm pleased to announce the release of one of my latest projects--some collateral for the PWRBA.
I had read of the plight of the honeybees. Entire colonies were dying. The exact cause was saturated with vague mystery. A foreboding black cloud hovered over agricultural centers around the world. My interest was piqued and we joined a local beekeeping club.
Not too long afterward, two white boxes appeared on the western edge of our little field. And not too long after that, a lawn chair appeared near the hives—with a comfortable buffer separating the two. Today, they are sitting silently with an air of anticipation surrounding them. In the morning, sunlight reflects off the boxes and illuminates a tiny cloud of insects busying themselves. Ostensibly, the bees seem happy and healthy. Oh, and for the first time in decades, we reaped a nice crop from the our fruit trees.
The PWRBA, wanted to focus their energy on cleaning up some of their collateral. What they wanted was a warm, rustic, modern schema--something which everyone tends to gravitate towards. By combining a clean graphic look, ease of readability, and some "rustic" qualities, we created a schema that captured the PWRBA's key bullet point of promoting the use of honey, and the honey-makers.
